Congratulations to Miss Suzy
Massive Congratulations to our very own Miss Suzy and her band “Citizen” who has been chosen by The Chris Moyles Show on Radio 1 to perform at BBC Radio 1 Live in Hull next week. The band fought off tough competition to win the BBC Radio 1 “Introducing” Competition. We are all very proud of you here at ActiveDance and wish you and the band every success in the future!

DanceRox Launches 11/11
ActiveDance are delighted to host the launch of www.dancerox.com, a new
online store specialising in Urban Dancewear and dance related fashion.
Brands stocked include Pineapple dancewear and footwear, Roch Valley and
Bloch. DanceRox are also the first official supplier of new Street
Dancewear company, Always Forever Dance.
The launch event will take place at ActiveDance Elton studios on Friday
11th November from 6pm. The event will feature catwalk shows. Showcasing
the new ranges followed by the chance to shop till you drop! With the
added bonus of 10% off all sales on the night!
ActiveDance visits the famous Pineapple dance Studios
ActiveDance, took fifty of their teenage dancers to London to visit the
famous Pineapple Dance Studios in Covent Garden! The group went to the
Apollo Victoria Theatre to watch the smash Hit West End show “Wicked”,
the group then met Paul Saunders, a cast member from the show, at
Pineapple Dance Studios where they were put through their paces in a
West End workshop. The dancers learnt the original show choreography to
“One Short Day” from the musical, followed by a question and answer
session. Whilst in London the group managed to fit in some sightseeing
and shopping, visiting Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park, London Eye and
Marble Arch. The Dancers had a wonderful time and gained useful
knowledgeduring the trip, we can’t wait to go again next year!
